"The spirit of the squad was right from the first to last minute. We worked well together and I always was positive with the team because 30 days ago we were in a very bad situation.
"You felt there's a desire to prosper and now it goes better it's still there. This team really wants to improve, wants to strive and really wants to improve and. That is the most satisfying aspect.
"They didn't switch off when they led 2-0 and that's not necessarily the situation. Overall it was a controlled performance. We had complete domination.
"We are getting stronger. We scored five goals last week, three goals today and didn't concede, so overall it is a very positive afternoon."
West Bromwich Albion boss Roy Hodgson:
"Arsenal deserved to win. They played very, perfectly. 2nd goal came in the wrong some time and at 2-0 with Arsenal in their current mood and form, they were able to experience that and relax. But we stuck to the guns but we lost towards the better team.
"We place in one hell of the shift and I thought we'd to because i was facing an excellent Arsenal team in form, who were rampant.
"You could accuse of lacking a little bit of quality sometimes, might accuse us of, Custom Soccer Jerseys in the first half, playing the ball forward too early. You could accuse us of those things and I might accept you, only one thing I will certainly not agree with you would be that the players did not include a shift."
